Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Eigg Seascape by Kate Nicholson was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,501.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kate Nicholson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Quarry Beck, which sold at auction in November 2021 for GBP 4,080.00 (€ 4,790.30).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.020,00 (€ 1.501,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kate Nicholson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Quarry Beck beobachtet, die im November 2021 für GBP 4.080,00 (€ 4.790,30) versteigert wurde.
