Auction result well in line with expectations
The work From The Heart(Painted In 2017) by Kasing Lung was sold in the Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction at China Guardian in October this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 100,000.00 – 200,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 120,000.00 (€ 14,511.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kasing Lung achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Otto Ule (Painted In 2018) in April this year with an auction result of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 147,052.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit From The Heart(Painted In 2017) von Kasing Lung wurde im Oktober diesen Jahres in der Auktion Asian 20th Century and Contemporary Art bei China Guardian versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 100.000,00 – 200.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 120.000,00 (€ 14.511,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kasing Lung erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Otto Ule (Painted In 2018) im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 147.052,17).
