Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Senza titolo by Karl Plattner was sold in the Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in May 2010. The price achieved of EUR 5,460.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Karl Plattner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Il Reggiseno Bianco in November 2009 with an auction result of EUR 39,150.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Senza titolo von Karl Plattner wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.460,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Plattner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Il Reggiseno Bianco im November 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 39.150,00.
