Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A Collection of 52 Drawings and Sketches, some of which double-sided by Karl Pavlovich Briullov was sold in the Russian Pictures auction at Sothebys in London in December 2020. The price achieved of GBP 27,720.00 (€ 30,965.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Pavlovich Briullov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study for 'The Return of Pope Pius IX to Rome from Basillica Santa Maria Maggiore' in November 2005 with an auction result of GBP 433,600.00 (€ 637,013.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit A Collection of 52 Drawings and Sketches, some of which double-sided von Karl Pavlovich Briullov wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Russian Pictures bei Sothebys in London versteigert.
