The result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,089.75) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 25,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Knaths - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Lilacs, which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 34,000.00 (€ 23,500.14).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.089,75) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 25.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Knaths mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Lilacs beobachtet, die im Oktober 2007 für USD 34.000,00 (€ 23.500,14) versteigert wurde.
