Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Standing model by Karl Isakson was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in May this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of SEK 100,000.00 – 125,000.00, the actual price achieved of SEK 105,000.00 (€ 9,047.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Isakson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Nature Morte, which sold at auction in November 2005 for EUR 26,400.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Standing model von Karl Isakson wurde im Mai diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 100.000,00 – 125.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von SEK 105.000,00 (€ 9.047,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Isakson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Nature Morte beobachtet, die im November 2005 für EUR 26.400,00 versteigert wurde.
