Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Karl Hansen Reistrup could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in June this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings, furniture and varia auction, the work A hussar on a horse changed hands for DKK 400.00 (€ 53.70) - just shy of the DKK 2,000.00 estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karl Hansen Reistrup achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Two cats on a path in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 1,500.00 (€ 1,310.96).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Hansen Reistrup konnte im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia wechselte die Arbeit A hussar on a horse für DKK 400,00 (€ 53,70) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karl Hansen Reistrup erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Two cats on a path im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 1.500,00 (€ 1.310,96).
