The work Danish King Christian X hailed by the Danes by Karl Hansen Reistrup was sold in the Paintings, furniture and varia auction at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 8,000.00 (€ 1,073.19), 60% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Karl Hansen Reistrup; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Two cats on a path sold at auction in January 2024 with the realized price of DKK 1,500.00 (€ 1,310.96).

Die Arbeit Danish King Christian X hailed by the Danes von Karl Hansen Reistrup wurde im April diesen Jahres in der Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia bei Bruun Rasmussen versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 8.000,00 (€ 1.073,19) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Karl Hansen Reistrup; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Two cats on a path im Januar 2024 mit dem Hammerpreis von DKK 1.500,00 (€ 1.310,96).
