Auction result fails to reach estimate
This work of art by Karl Gustaf Nilson could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in April this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern art and design auction, the work “Rosa Bro”, 1998 changed hands for DKK 10,500.00 (€ 1,408.56) - just shy of the DKK 15,000.00 estimate. Admittedly, works by Karl Gustaf Nilson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Den växande staden" in November 2021 with an auction result of SEK 65,000.00 (€ 6,340.48).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt den Schätzpreis
Dieses Kunstwerk von Karl Gustaf Nilson konnte im April diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern art and design wechselte die Arbeit “Rosa Bro”, 1998 für DKK 10.500,00 (€ 1.408,56) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit den Schätzpreis von DKK 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karl Gustaf Nilson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Den växande staden" im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 65.000,00 (€ 6.340,48).
