In the Spring Modern Auction, Stockholm auction, the work "Mefoittisk äng" (Meadow) changed hands for SEK 44,000.00 (€ 4,942.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 50,000.00 – 60,000.00. Other works by Karl Axel Pehrson have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in April 2013 by the work "Exotisk flykt" (Exotic movement) at SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,855.10).
