Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Composition by Karl Axel Pehrson was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in October 2012, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 20,000.00 – 25,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 15,000.00 (€ 1,744.48). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karl Axel Pehrson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Exotisk flykt" (Exotic movement), which sold at auction in April 2013 for SEK 50,000.00 (€ 5,855.10).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Composition von Karl Axel Pehrson im Oktober 2012 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 20.000,00 – 25.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 15.000,00 (€ 1.744,48) den Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Karl Axel Pehrson mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Exotisk flykt" (Exotic movement) beobachtet, die im April 2013 für SEK 50.000,00 (€ 5.855,10) versteigert wurde.
