The work Torso of a female nude by Karin Jonzen was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2006. It achieved a price of GBP 1,920.00 (€ 2,849.52), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 60%. Admittedly, works by Karin Jonzen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seated female Nude in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 11,914.93).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Torso of a female nude von Karin Jonzen kam im Dezember 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.920,00 (€ 2.849,52) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 60%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karin Jonzen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seated female Nude im März 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.225,00 (€ 11.914,93).
