Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2011 a collector was able to acquire the work The Lovers by Karin Jonzen for GBP 1,250.00 (€ 1,446.64). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,000.00 set by the auction house. Admittedly, works by Karin Jonzen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seated female Nude in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 11,914.93).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2011 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Lovers von Karin Jonzen für GBP 1.250,00 (€ 1.446,64) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karin Jonzen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seated female Nude im März 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.225,00 (€ 11.914,93).
