It achieved a price of GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,111.61), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 38%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Karin Jonzen - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Seated female Nude, which sold at auction in March 2003 for GBP 8,225.00 (€ 11,914.93).

Die Arbeit Girl Looking in a Mirror von Karin Jonzen kam im März 2011 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.111,61) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 38%. Für andere Arbeiten von Karin Jonzen mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Seated female Nude beobachtet, die im März 2003 für GBP 8.225,00 (€ 11.914,93) versteigert wurde.
