In March 2003 Christies in London held the auction TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Seated female Nude by Karin Jonzen. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,225.00 (€ 11,914.93), 37% above the upper estimate. With this result, Seated female Nude is even the most expensive work of art by Karin Jonzen that we have observed at auctions so far.
