Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Standing nude by Karin Jonzen was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2007. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,080.00 (€ 1,589.29) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Karin Jonzen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Seated female Nude in March 2003 with an auction result of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 11,914.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Standing nude von Karin Jonzen kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.080,00 (€ 1.589,29) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Karin Jonzen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Seated female Nude im März 2003 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.225,00 (€ 11.914,93).
