The price achieved of EUR 468.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Karel Novosad achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in February 2021 with an auction result of EUR 22,500.00.

Die Arbeit Ohne Titel (Weihnachtsgruß). von Karel Novosad kam im Oktober 2021 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 468,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Karel Novosad erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Februar 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 22.500,00.
