Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In January 2007 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Elderly couple by Karel Gomes. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 1,560.00. Other works by Karel Gomes have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 2,750.00 in September 2011 for the work Playing otters.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Januar 2007 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Elderly couple von Karel Gomes zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 1.560,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Karel Gomes haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 2.750,00 im September 2011 für die Arbeit Playing otters beobachtet.
