The work Untitled (Search of Light) by Kanwal Krishna was sold in the The Surya Collection: Property from Mrs. Ute Rettberg auction at Sothebys in London in May last year. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,016.00 (€ 2,371.63), 68% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kanwal Krishna - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Homage to Light Series), which sold at auction in March last year for USD 6,930.00 (€ 6,247.18).

Die Arbeit Untitled (Search of Light) von Kanwal Krishna wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion The Surya Collection: Property from Mrs. Ute Rettberg bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.016,00 (€ 2.371,63) und damit 68% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Kanwal Krishna mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Homage to Light Series) beobachtet, die im März letzten Jahres für USD 6.930,00 (€ 6.247,18) versteigert wurde.
