Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2010 Christies in London held the auction Japanese Art and Design, which included the work Unknown by Kano Yasunobu. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 2,250.00 (€ 2,688.75) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Kano Yasunobu have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in March 2010 the work Gibbons Grasping At The Reflected Moon was auctioned for USD 5,000.00 (€ 3,696.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Japanese Art and Design durch, in der auch die Arbeit Unknown von Kano Yasunobu zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 2.250,00 (€ 2.688,75) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Kano Yasunobu konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im März 2010 die Arbeit Gibbons Grasping At The Reflected Moon für USD 5.000,00 (€ 3.696,58) versteigert.
