This artwork by Kang Sheng achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in December 2021. In the Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale auction, the work Plum Blossom sold for HKD 15,300.00 (€ 1,733.04) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kang Sheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 57,600.00 (€ 58,820.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 91 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Kang Sheng erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Bonhams einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Chinese PaintingsThe Online Sale wurde die Arbeit Plum Blossom für HKD 15.300,00 (€ 1.733,04) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kang Sheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.600,00 (€ 58.820,87).
