Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Lotus In Ink by Kang Sheng was auctioned at POLY in Hong Kong in July last year. It changed hands for a price of HKD 144,000.00 (€ 17,968.24) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of HKD 120,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kang Sheng - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Calligraphy, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 57,600.00 (€ 58,820.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Lotus In Ink von Kang Sheng kam im Juli letzten Jahres bei POLY in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von HKD 144.000,00 (€ 17.968,24) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 120.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Kang Sheng mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Calligraphy beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 57.600,00 (€ 58.820,87) versteigert wurde.
