Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Chrysanthemum and Rock by Kang Sheng was sold in the Chinese Paintings Online auction at Bonhams in Hong Kong in February 2021. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 38,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 38,250.00 (€ 4,077.09). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kang Sheng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Calligraphy in April this year with an auction result of HKD 57,600.00 (€ 58,820.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Chrysanthemum and Rock von Kang Sheng wurde im Februar 2021 in der Auktion Chinese Paintings Online bei Bonhams in Hong Kong versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 38.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 38.250,00 (€ 4.077,09) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kang Sheng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Calligraphy im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 57.600,00 (€ 58.820,87).
