A top price for Kang Kanghoon - as previously expected
The work Modern Boy: Your Toy by Kang Kanghoon was sold in the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in May 2011. The auction ended at the price of HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,945.46), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of HKD 80,000.00 – 100,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Modern Boy: Your Toy is the most expensive artwork by Kang Kanghoon that we have observed at auctions so far.
