Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Modern Boy-Island by Kang Kanghoon was sold in the Contemporary Asian Art auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2012. The price achieved of HKD 62,500.00 (€ 6,222.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Other works by Kang Kanghoon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Modern Boy: Your Toy was auctioned for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 8,945.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Modern Boy-Island von Kang Kanghoon wurde im Oktober 2012 in der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 62.500,00 (€ 6.222,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Kang Kanghoon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2011 die Arbeit Modern Boy: Your Toy für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 8.945,46) versteigert.
