Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Rhythm From My Mind Iii by Kan Tai-Keung was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2016. The price achieved of HKD 37,500.00 (€ 4,412.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kan Tai-Keung - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Wisdom And Behaviour, which sold at auction in April 2015 for HKD 82,600.00 (€ 9,546.14).

Die Arbeit Rhythm From My Mind Iii von Kan Tai-Keung kam im Oktober 2016 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 37.500,00 (€ 4.412,97) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Kan Tai-Keung mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Wisdom And Behaviour beobachtet, die im April 2015 für HKD 82.600,00 (€ 9.546,14) versteigert wurde.
