Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dirigible by Kamil Lhoták was sold in the 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,512.00 (€ 1,775.23) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Kamil Lhoták achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Czech balloons in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 60,000.00 (€ 72,201.97).

Die Arbeit Dirigible von Kamil Lhoták wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion 20th Century Art: A Different Perspective bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.512,00 (€ 1.775,23) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Kamil Lhoták erzielen.
