Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Chinese Poets And An Attendant Beneath Plum Tree by Kaiho Yusho was sold in the Japanese and Korean Works of Art auction at Christies in New York in September 2004. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 10,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,365.00 (€ 6,736.73) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Kaiho Yusho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Birds and flowers, insects, landscapes, horses, Daoist sages and interiors in March 2004 with an auction result of USD 41,825.00 (€ 34,026.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Chinese Poets And An Attendant Beneath Plum Tree von Kaiho Yusho wurde im September 2004 in der Auktion Japanese and Korean Works of Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 10.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.365,00 (€ 6.736,73) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
