This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century Art / Middle East at Sothebys in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 4,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Kahlil Gibran - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Amin Rihani, which sold at auction in October 2018 for GBP 92,500.00 (€ 104,311.46).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th Century Art / Middle East bei Sothebys in London erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 4.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Kahlil Gibran mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Portrait Of Amin Rihani beobachtet, die im Oktober 2018 für GBP 92.500,00 (€ 104.311,46) versteigert wurde.
