Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2012 Phillips in New York held the auction Under the Influence, which included the work Untitled (The Structural Necessity of Multiple Inconsistent Fantasies) by Jutta Koether. The price achieved of USD 5,625.00 (€ 4,375.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jutta Koether have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Nach Botticelli die Ausweidung in November 2019 with an auction result of EUR 35,960.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2012 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Under the Influence durch, in der auch die Arbeit Untitled (The Structural Necessity of Multiple Inconsistent Fantasies) von Jutta Koether zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 5.625,00 (€ 4.375,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jutta Koether auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Nach Botticelli die Ausweidung im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 35.960,00.
