Auction result misses estimated price range
In January 2016 a collector was able to acquire the work Portrait Of A Bearded Gentleman by Justus Sustermans for USD 75,000.00 (€ 69,239.29). This price was achieved in the auction Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Justus Sustermans have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in January 2008 by the work Portrait Of A Gentleman at USD 169,000.00 (€ 113,873.73).

Im Januar 2016 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Portrait Of A Bearded Gentleman von Justus Sustermans für USD 75.000,00 (€ 69.239,29) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Master Paintings & Sculpture Day Sale bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Justus Sustermans wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Januar 2008 die Arbeit Portrait Of A Gentleman mit USD 169.000,00 (€ 113.873,73).
