Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Justin Tew could be acquired at Christies in London in May 2005 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20th Century British Art auction, the work View From The Rialto Bridge; And View of The Rialto Bridge changed hands for GBP 360.00 (€ 531.47) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Justin Tew - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Siberian Tigers, which sold at auction in November 2000 for GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,920.49).
