Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2004 a collector was able to acquire the work Venetian panorama by Justin Tew for GBP 956.00 (€ 1,431.04). This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century British Art at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Justin Tew have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in November 2000 by the work Siberian Tigers at GBP 1,175.00 (€ 1,920.49).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2004 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Venetian panorama von Justin Tew für GBP 956,00 (€ 1.431,04) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00. Andere Arbeiten von Justin Tew wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im November 2000 die Arbeit Siberian Tigers mit GBP 1.175,00 (€ 1.920,49).
