A top price for Justin Mortimer - as previously expected
The work Shopping by Justin Mortimer was sold in the 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in May 2005. The price achieved of GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,086.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Shopping is the most expensive artwork by Justin Mortimer that we have observed at auctions so far.
