Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Entertaining The Pasha by Julius Berger was sold in the 19th Century European & Orientalist Art auction at Christies in London in December 2014. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 37,500.00 (€ 48,274.94). Other works by Julius Berger have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 42,000.00 (€ 62,246.65) in June 2005 for the work Entertaining The Pasha.
