Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Poultry In A Farmyard by Julius Scheuerer was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in September 2004. It changed hands for a price of EUR 2,987.50 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julius Scheuerer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A feathered feast in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Poultry In A Farmyard von Julius Scheuerer kam im September 2004 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 2.987,50 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julius Scheuerer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A feathered feast im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
