Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Ducks And A Peacock On The Banks of A River At Dusk by Julius Scheuerer was sold in the 19th Century European Pictures auction at Christies in London in March 2005. The price achieved of GBP 1,440.00 (€ 2,097.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Admittedly, works by Julius Scheuerer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A feathered feast in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.

Die Arbeit Ducks And A Peacock On The Banks of A River At Dusk von Julius Scheuerer wurde im März 2005 in der Auktion 19th Century European Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.440,00 (€ 2.097,21) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julius Scheuerer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A feathered feast im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
