Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2007 a collector was able to acquire the work Cock of the roost; and Ducks by the pond by Julius Scheuerer for GBP 192.00 (€ 283.83). This price was achieved in the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julius Scheuerer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A feathered feast in June 2008 with an auction result of EUR 16,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im August 2007 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Cock of the roost; and Ducks by the pond von Julius Scheuerer für GBP 192,00 (€ 283,83) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julius Scheuerer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A feathered feast im Juni 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 16.250,00.
