This artwork by Julio Le Parc achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Skinner Boston in January 2024. In the Prints & Photographs auction, the work Relief 7 sold for USD 2,176.00 (€ 1,901.77) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julio Le Parc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Seuil de Perception, Continuel-lumiére-Mobile in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 506,500.00 (€ 388,539.43).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Julio Le Parc erzielte im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Skinner Boston einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Photographs wurde die Arbeit Relief 7 für USD 2.176,00 (€ 1.901,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julio Le Parc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Seuil de Perception, Continuel-lumiére-Mobile im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 506.500,00 (€ 388.539,43).
