Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Oracle at Agua Dulce Airbase by Julio Larraz was sold in the Latin America auction at Phillips in New York in November 2017. The price achieved of USD 100,000.00 (€ 84,047.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 90,000.00 – 120,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julio Larraz - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Bingham at Noon, which sold at auction in May 2011 for USD 326,500.00 (€ 227,114.64).

Für andere Arbeiten von Julio Larraz mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Bingham at Noon beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für USD 326.500,00 (€ 227.114,64) versteigert wurde.
