A top price for Julio Castellanos - as previously expected
In May 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Paisaje Con Animales by Julio Castellanos. The price achieved of USD 40,000.00 (€ 25,706.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 35,000.00 – 45,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Paisaje Con Animales is the most expensive artwork by Julio Castellanos that we have observed at auctions so far.
