The work Camptown Races (from Domestic Vacations) by Julie Blackmon was auctioned at Phillips in London in April 2018. It achieved a price of GBP 2,500.00 (€ 2,847.23), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Julie Blackmon - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Gum, which sold at auction in April 2013 for USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,644.90).

Die Arbeit Camptown Races (from Domestic Vacations) von Julie Blackmon kam im April 2018 bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.500,00 (€ 2.847,23) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Für andere Arbeiten von Julie Blackmon mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Gum beobachtet, die im April 2013 für USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.644,90) versteigert wurde.
