Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In April 2019 Christies in New York held the auction Daydreaming: Photographs from the Goldstein Collection, which included the work Before the Storm from Domestic Vacations, 2007 by Julie Blackmon. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,625.00 (€ 5,021.87). Other works by Julie Blackmon have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 8,750.00 (€ 6,644.90) in April 2013 for the work Gum.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im April 2019 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Daydreaming: Photographs from the Goldstein Collection durch, in der auch die Arbeit Before the Storm from Domestic Vacations, 2007 von Julie Blackmon zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.625,00 (€ 5.021,87) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Julie Blackmon haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 6.644,90) im April 2013 für die Arbeit Gum beobachtet.
