Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Slaugham by Julian Trevelyan was sold in the Modern British Art auction at Christies in London in September 2020. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 3,250.00 (€ 3,583.65). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Trevelyan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Durham Wharf in November 2016 with an auction result of GBP 46,250.00 (€ 54,570.45).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Slaugham von Julian Trevelyan wurde im September 2020 in der Auktion Modern British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 3.250,00 (€ 3.583,65) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julian Trevelyan erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Durham Wharf im November 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 46.250,00 (€ 54.570,45).
