The »bidding war« ended at GBP 20,250.00 (€ 23,788.53), 69% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Julian Stanczak have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Undulating Currents in September 2014 with an auction result of USD 125,000.00 (€ 98,986.38).

Die Arbeit Pathways in the Light von Julian Stanczak wurde im März 2021 in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 20.250,00 (€ 23.788,53) und damit 69% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julian Stanczak auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Undulating Currents im September 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 98.986,38).
