Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Allen "Cordial Love" by Julian Schnabel was auctioned at Phillips in London in October this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 69,850.00 (€ 80,207.21) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Schnabel achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Ethnic Type #14 in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 1,452,500.00 (€ 1,220,793.41).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Allen "Cordial Love" von Julian Schnabel kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 69.850,00 (€ 80.207,21) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 50.000,00 – 70.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julian Schnabel erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Ethnic Type #14 im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.452.500,00 (€ 1.220.793,41).
