Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Ship of Fools (Production Photograph), 2007 by Julian Rosefeldt was sold in the Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples auction at Christies in London in July 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 600.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 625.00 (€ 700.76). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Julian Rosefeldt achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Perfectionist (Trilogy Of Failure III) in April 2014 with an auction result of EUR 8,125.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Ship of Fools (Production Photograph), 2007 von Julian Rosefeldt wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 600,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 625,00 (€ 700,76) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Julian Rosefeldt erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Perfectionist (Trilogy Of Failure III) im April 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 8.125,00.
