Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Abstract Composition by Julia Rommel was sold in the New Now auction at Phillips in London in December 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,711.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Julia Rommel have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Cal Ripken Jr. (Kidnapping) in May last year with an auction result of USD 37,800.00 (€ 35,225.05).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstract Composition von Julia Rommel wurde im Dezember 2021 in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.711,08) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Julia Rommel auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Cal Ripken Jr. (Kidnapping) im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 37.800,00 (€ 35.225,05).
