Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jules Worms could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in November 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection auction, the work French breaking The News changed hands for USD 21,250.00 (€ 17,860.14) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jules Worms - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work French Breaking The News, which sold at auction in April 2008 for USD 67,000.00 (€ 43,037.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jules Worms konnte im November 2017 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Art Treasures of America: The John F. Eulich Collection wechselte die Arbeit French breaking The News für USD 21.250,00 (€ 17.860,14) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00.
