A top price for Jules Lessore - as previously expected
In November 2008 Christies in London held the auction Christie's Interiors, which included the work The harbour at Honfleur, Normandy by Jules Lessore. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,209.08) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The harbour at Honfleur, Normandy is the most expensive artwork by Jules Lessore that we have observed at auctions so far.
